Financial freedom is something that many people don’t even think is possible due to their self-limiting beliefs and what they have been told is the “right way” to live a safe and secure life. These prenotions kill anyone’s chances to achieve anything right off the bat. Those who reach financial freedom have a lot of similarities in terms of their mindsets. One of the biggest and most important things they excel at is their ability to manifest their thoughts and dreams into reality through tireless effort and seemingly limitless perseverance. Take Elon Musk for example. Elon has failed time and time again, but his manifestation abilities are so high that even through his failures he was able to launch some of the most successful and innovative companies in the world today. Elon’s superpower is that he is hyper focused on doing exactly what he says he will do no matter the difficulty of the process it is to reach those goals. Although Elon is an extreme example, you can surely mimic his ability to manifest goals into reality and try to implement it as best you can in your world.
Manifestation takes action
Have you ever noticed how so many people say they are going to do things and then never act on or even think about those thoughts again? The more someone does this, the less their brain associates their words to their actions which in turn inhibits their ability to manifest their goals. I think it is important that people practice saying things they are going to do only if they actually intend on doing them. This will put so much more weight on your words, and you will actually be taken seriously when you say things you plan on doing as you start to build up a track record of this kind of behavior. The best way to manifest is to correlate what you say into action. Without action, there is stagnation. If you piece your way towards you goals through imperfect yet consistent action, you will undoubtedly reach your goals. The only exception to this rule is one not learning from their mistakes and fine-tuning their action, but instead taking the same action without adjustments expecting different results. Success is like a jigsaw puzzle. If you keep trying to fit the wrong piece in a hole it wasn’t meant for, you’ll never finish the puzzle. However, if you learn from your mistake, analyze the puzzle piece, and see where it does fit, you will complete the puzzle. The same goes for manifesting your success. Don’t try to put the same pieces in the same wrong hole. Learn from your mistakes and apply your newfound knowledge to your next step of action.
Avoiding shiny object syndrome
Another major reason why people are unable to manifest their success is because they are chasing too many things at the same time that look promising leaving everything else you were working on behind. This is a phenomenon called shiny object syndrome and we all have been victim to it, especially me. The way I see it, there are so many opportunities out there, and it can sometimes be overwhelming to just pick one and run with it until you’ve mastered it. I personally have jumped around between many things to try and create streams of passive income for my financial freedom, and I’ve learned that this is not the best way to approach my goal. In the book, The One Thing, by Gary Keller and Jay Papasan, the book opens with the quote, “If you chase two rabbits you will not catch either of them.” This is something that resonated with me to my core, and I quickly realized that this is exactly my problem. I’ve tried so many times to be a jack-of-all-trades and accomplish a million things at once. As a result, this has limited the success I could have had in every individual field I’ve pursued. This simple phrase has helped me narrow down my one thing to real estate investing. This takes up about 90% of my time. Even narrowing down to this specific trade, real estate investing is still a broad umbrella, and I am still in the process of figuring out what my one thing is in this space exactly. I feel as though so many people share this problem with me, but don’t know how much this rule impacts their success. You can’t possibly manifest 4-5 ideas at the same time. You need to pick one, master it, automate it, and then move on to the next idea. This is the best way to approach success at whatever it is you want to do. Don’t let shiny object syndrome distract you from what is important here and now! Take action on your current objectives and don’t move on until you’ve both mastered and automated whatever it is so that it no longer requires your time and effort to be successful. This by far is the best way to manifest your dreams and goals into reality.
