Doing Difficult Things In Easy Environments

With the advent of new and upgrade of existing technology in America, convenience is getting more and more accessible. Depending on the person, this reality can have a snowball effect one way or another. In one instance, one might use the new technology readily available to them such as AI to upgrade and enhance their business and personal life by adding time efficient and energy preserving systems. On the other hand, others will create extremely easy environments for themselves while they get more and more lazy and detached from reality and success of any sort. At the end of the day, like almost everything else in this great country, it comes down to a personal choice. Do you want to use the tools you have access to in order to create greatness, or would you rather use them to coast by in life while doing the bare minimum to get by?

Your competition is doing what you are not

Technology is advancing at a rapid pace and seemingly every day there is some sort of update to speak on. Turbulent times where things are changing extraordinarily fast call for constantly being at the cutting edge and in the know of what there is out there for you to use. If you aren’t actively looking for new ways to incorporate modern technology into the way you do things in terms of business, your competition is, and they will beat you. America has always flourished under intense competition. That is where the biggest stars are made, the best inventions come to light, and the most success is realized. If you want to be successful in this environment, you need to be pushing your own limits constantly.

The best way to prospect in my business of real estate investing is always changing. While many of the older people in my field stick to their guns and spend their time cold calling and door knocking, the new hyper-efficient and technologically savvy generation of investors are ditching this old method for a new model. This model consists of paying for ad traffic to funnel into a website for the prospects to then be confronted by a highly intelligent and conversationally savvy AI. The purpose of this AI is to replace a human that would otherwise have this role, and be able to filter unlimited conversations at a time to filter out the best leads for us to close. This eliminates the time and energy constraints of a human being doing this job all while cutting the cost of this employee as well. This is the way we are headed in our industry as well as every other one you can think of. If you’re not keeping up with the tech, you’ll be left in the dust rather quickly.

The lazy and unmotivated

This country, especially apparent in younger generations, lacks drive and motivation to do anything for themselves and be a productive member of society. Remember, being a productive member of society means working smarter, not harder, as demonstrated in the above example. Many people are using the advancements in technology to become lazy, antisocial, fat, and useless to society. This stems from entitlement and resentment that seems to be so prevalent in us young Americans ( I would know, I’m one of them ). We are in a time of desperation for leadership in every facet of our country. America desperately needs stronger leaders and fellow citizens need to step up to the plate as they have done in the past. Innovation, collaboration, and competition have made our country what it is today, filtering the strong leaders from the weak and giving them an important role in society. Without strong leaders, society produces docile sheep who can be easily led in any direction someone even semi-convincing can point them in. Look at what’s happening today if you want to see a clear and obvious example of this. As I write this, we have leadership on all sides that are collapsing the American economic system all while distracting the sheep with whatever it is they chose to do so with on the news. Government bailouts, quantitative easing, and other socialist principles are becoming more and more popular in this country as the younger generation continues to get fatter, more entitled, and lazier. In the absence of competition and new ideas in the evolving technological environment, this could be a recipe for disaster for this generation.

Competition is key

In order to get this country back on track, we need to change the attitude of the younger generations. It all starts with asking one simple question. As president John F. Kennedy so eloquently said, “Ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country.” Do not look at these tools such as AI and everything available to the general population today in a self-serving manner alone, ask how you can use these innovations to serve your community and leave your footprint in a positive light. Use technology to solve problems that our society faces. Look at the advent of blockchain currency technology. Someone saw a need for a decentralized currency with a cap and created one for others to benefit from. We need more of these thinkers in our society. Less selfishness and more selflessness. The human species was designed by God to create and expand the idea of “possible.” That is a gift that we can’t afford to squander or take for granted. We all need to step up in a big way for the preservation of society and advancement into the new technological age!
